Ernest Wright and Son Limited is a family company hand-making fine scissors and shears in Sheffield since 1902. — Some of their products include household, kitchen, garden, leisure and ceremonial ribbon-cutting scissors applications, which are made using traditional skills passed down from generation to generation.
The company currently has three skilled craftsmen with years of experience in the cutlery trade. They are past retirement age but have stayed on because there are no new apprentices to take on their skills.

This is
the current location of the company, also trading as ‘Kutrite of Sheffield
Ltd’ since 1954 in the heart
of the industrially famous Kelham Island Quarter of Sheffield. — The
company will soon move to new premises.
The management
of the company is Philip and Nick Wright.
